A woman has given birth to octuplets (eight babies) by cesarean section at Kaiser Permanente hospital south of Los Angeles.
She becomes just the second person recorded to have ever delivered a set of living octuplets.
The six boys and two girls were weighed in between 1.8lbs (800grams) and 3.4lbs each, are all said to be doing well.
46 individual medical workers were needed for the delivery.
A hospital spokeswoman described the deliveries as “truly amazing”. The babies, delivered early will be in incubators for at least six weeks.

What an amazing thing that all of the babies are alive and well. My wife and I were pretty impressed with the size of the kids, and the mother's ability to hold on through 30 weeks. Incredible. Multiples rock.

Utterly the most disgusting thing to read. The world has six billion people & counting. More than half the world's children are starving with very little education or bare essentials to live on.
These parents will probably be expecting & getting a ton of gifts. But, that will all wear off.
Then what???????????

my cousin had twin…. daniel and dennies… 1 boy and 1 girl….
cut, my mom had 7 children differant ages.. not same….. i born 6th in nove and then my sister born last in august…
my mom too much work our my sister and bro…
i don't had a kid.. too late…..

what a miricle we have wittnessed. this is what this country needs to bring us as usa citizens together. yhis country was not built by one person, we the people worked together, asbrothers and sisters. we need to show the world that we are still the greatest country in the world….. lets stop all the negativity!!!!!!! we the people of the usa have showed time and again to the world. i propose that we make this the biggest positive united effort to the world. now i'm not talking some big thing, but each of us put one small but very effective move that will stop the negitive news crap!!!!! Each of us just send NADIA SULEMAN One Dollar !!!!!! if we do this no money from the gov or state will be as they would wastedon this woman. she would have more than she could ever spend on the kids education doctor bills ect ect ect . they would a shining star vfor the citizens of the usa (and maybe we can our gov how to act when the chips are down!!!!!! this is how i remember the citizens of usa acted when i was a kid. So lets do this and start a real old fashion american spirit . send her just ONE DOLLAR . each of us and start somthing that the world and our GOV may follow our led thankx for your time Dan Westland of Washington State
