The Obama Inauguration – Lego style [VIDEO]

It always amazes me how anyone can have the patience to build some of the incredible things they do with Lego blocks. Well apparently the folks at Legoland California felt the recent inauguration of President Obama needed it’s own special immortalization in Lego blocks

LEGOLAND California is bringing the 56th quadrennial Presidential Inauguration to the steps of the Miniland Capitol all guests to witness the swearing in of the first African-American President.

More than one-thousand mini-figures have been created out of thousands of LEGO bricks to be a part of the festivities. Mini-figures include President-elect Obama and his family, Vice President-elect Joseph Biden and Jill Biden, President George Bush and First Lady Laura Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney and Lynn Cheney along with former President George Bush Sr. and Barbara Bush.
