‘The Real Housewives Of New Jersey’ Star Teresa Giudice Prepares For Low-Key Christmas
The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Teresa and Joe Giudice were sentenced to prison time during their October 2 sentencing for fraud. Fortunately, the judge allowed the couple to serve their sentences back-to-back, and spend the upcoming holidays with their four children.
As Teresa, who will begin a 15-month sentence on January 5, as per the Inquisitr, prepares to celebrate Christmas, she’s reportedly keeping things low-key for her children.
“This Christmas, the focus isn’t going to be on presents,” a source told E! News on Wednesday. “It will be on family and togetherness. Teresa is savoring every moment she has with her girls right now.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star is even planning to cut back on gifts.
“Lately, Teresa is always talking about how she ‘has to watch it,'” the insider shared. “She knows her financial situation has drastically changed.”
Luckily for the reality star, her children want nothing more than clothes and toys.
“She doesn’t feel sorry for herself and doesn’t want anyone feeling sorry for her, but she has a lot of sadness,” a source recently shared with E! News. “She’s sad over her family who she has let down, the friends she has let down and the fans she has let down.”
As the Inquisitr reported earlier this week, a source recently claimed The Real Housewives of New Jersey filming had been put on hold.
“Bravo is very nervous to do the show without Teresa,” a show insider told Radar Online. “They fear that without her, the show will not be as big of a success. They’re exploring shelving the season until 2016, when Teresa gets out of prison. By having her fresh out of prison, there would be a clear storyline. It would also pull on fans’ heartstrings to see the changed Teresa back in the limelight.”
As for the rumors claiming Teresa could film Season 7 before prison, Radar’s source insisted that was not the case.
“There are many people who are trying to hurt Teresa by claiming things that don’t really have a strong basis in truth,” the source said. “Believe it or not, Teresa really does not have an interest in being in the spotlight at the current moment. If you notice, Teresa is not currently doing any media. She could be milking this, but she’s staying relatively quiet.”
Regarding an upcoming Season 7 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Cohen said on Reddit, via E! News, “We have not made any plans relating to the future of the Jersey Housewives.”
