Iowa Man ‘Assaults’ Wife By Throwing McDonald’s Chicken Sandwich At Her, Gets Arrested!
Can a McDonald’s chicken sandwich be used as a weapon? If we are to believe a recent report by KTLA News, it can very well be! A 21-year-old man was arrested after he was accused of assaulting his pregnant wife with a very unusual weapon. The man, identified as Marvin Tramaine Hill, a resident of Polk County, Iowa, threw the McDonald’s Chicken Sandwich at his wife after having an argument.
The incident reportedly happened on Tuesday, December 2 at around 1 p.m. local time. Interestingly, According to WQAD 8 News, it was Hill himself who called police and claimed it was his wife who had abused him — and not vice versa.
According to jail records, Hill was arrested and booked into the Polk County Jail at around 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
Officers from the local police department confirmed that the call for “help” from his abusive wife was made by Hill. However, when officers responded to his call, they found that his pregnant wife was the abused one — and not him. The WQAD 8 report adds that police found Hill’s wife to have mayonnaise on her shirt and face when they entered their residence. Later, she also alleged that Hill threw the sandwich at her and smashed the bun used in the sandwich into her face.
The most amazing part, however, is the reason for the argument that resulted in this case of abuse. Hill later confessed to police officials as to why he threw the McDonald’s chicken sandwich at his pregnant wife. According to Hill, his wife woke him up at around 1 p.m. on Tuesday and handed him the sandwich to eat. Hill, annoyed at being woken for eating a food he doesn’t like, threw the sandwich right back at her. Hill has now found out that it was a really bad idea. He now faces a domestic assault charge and is being held without bond.
Anyway, for those of who wondering if a McDonald’s chicken sandwich can be used as a weapon, the answer is a resounding yes — and you could also get arrested for using it as one!
