McChicken Sandwich Assault Leads To Des Moines Man’s Arrest

A McChicken sandwich assault isn’t something you hear about often, but that’s what happened in Des Moines, Iowa. Marvin Tramaine Hill II, 21, had called the police and ended up arrested for attacking his pregnant wife with the food.

It all started about an hour after noon on November 2, when Hill’s wife had tried to give him the sandwich to eat after waking him up for an appointment. He didn’t want it and reacted by allegedly grabbing it and throwing it at her. The food fight escalated when he picked up the buns and allegedly threw them at her a second time.

Hill’s wife claimed he had shoved the bun in her face and hurt her nose. Her story sounded more credible because police had noticed her swollen nose when they arrived.

CBS News states Marvin Hill confessed to the police that he “doesn’t like them,” and that was his excuse for the McChicken sandwich assault.

Hill followed his wife into the bathroom where she had attempted to clean herself off after getting mayonnaise on her shirt and face. He had started filming her with his cell phone when she smacked it out of his hand. The condiment was still present on her person when the police arrived at the home responding to his call.

Hill’s wife had allegedly told police that Marvin was trying to entice her to hit him and make her look aggressive. When she had given in, she had scratched his hand.

Hill was arrested on the charge of domestic simple assault and had his weapons permit confiscated. He is now in Polk County Jail after police determined he was the primary aggressor in the McChicken sandwich assault, according to KCCI News.

We have all heard of food fights, but rarely do they escalate that far. Marvin Hill of Des Moines, Iowa, is one of the few to be arrested for it.
