Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition outed by BBFC

The British Board of Film Classifications outed an upcoming project from Warner Bros. Interactive and NetherRealm studios today, rating a yet-unannounced Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition at 18+.

It isn’t known at this point just what Mortal Kombat Komplete is, as the BBFC rating didn’t share any details and Warner Bros. Interactive has yet to make an announcement. Whatever it is, the BBFC has Mortal Kombat Komplete pegged for a February 17, 2012 release.

In all likelihood, however, Mortal Kombat Komplete will be a re-release of the 2011 Mortal Kombat remake, presumably complete with all of the DLC released for the game so far. Whether or not it will include any additional content is unknown.

Assuming that it is a re-release with DLC bundled in, the package sounds like a good way to get caught up on all of the DLC if you missed out on anything (or, in my case, everything).
