A New ‘Better Call Saul’ Teaser Arrives, With ‘No Parking’ And More Jonathan Banks

A new Better Call Saul teaser promises more of what we loved about Breaking Bad, including Mike Ehrmantraut. Jonathan Banks will make at least of couple of cameos in the series, reprising his role as the old guy who’s tougher than he looks.

In AMC’s original series, Mike was the main hit man used by meth distributor Gustavo Fring (Giancarlo Esposito), and later a rogue ally for Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul). If he had a reason to kill you, he did it and went right back to his ordinary life like it was just another day. White and Pinkman were lucky enough to win him over.

In this Better Call Saul teaser, the Breaking Bad spinoff features the series’ lead Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) facing off against an angry Mike at a toll booth. Pushing the button for a ticket, it doesn’t come out, and Saul immediately tries to talk his way out of it like he always did in the previous series.

Saul promises the operator that he’ll pay him what he owes him plus interest if he’ll just let him through.

This is when we get our first confirmation that Jonathan Banks is reprising his role, this time running the toll booth and holding a grudge.

“I suggest you find parking somewhere else.”

Saul asks him where else he can park, and Mike replies that it’s not his concern. The talkative lawyer proceeds to tell him that as a toll booth operator, it is in fact his job to be concerned. Frustrated, Saul opens the car door and tells him he’s just going to park right there, soon after someone pulls in behind him.

Things escalate as Saul leaves the car and confronts Mike, calling him a “geezer.” Saul makes the mistake of grabbing him by the collar, and Mike immediately wrestles him to the pavement.

This Better Call Saul teaser confirms along with the Internet Movie Database that Mike will make cameo appearances, and leads fans to speculate who else might be returning to the cast of the Breaking Bad spinoff.
