Fedor was spiked on his head and it didn't even seem to phase him! He's strong, calm and defensive. You never see him rushing in or being flashy. Fedor was baiting Andrei since the beginning of the fight, look at how open Fedor had his arms almost all the time luring Andrei to go on the offensive so he could counter him.

On the other hand Andrei was using kicks a lot to get Fedor out of balance and push in but he made a big mistake trying to make a fly kick because Fedor was already too near. I think the ropes made the trick because Fedor used them to get in reach pretty quickly after being thrown backwards because of Andrei's front kick.

Arlovski did a knee cuz fedor ducked while going fast seemingly going for a takedown but it was really an overhead punch. AND YES DOING AN OVERHEAD PUNCH MEANS NOT SEEING THE GUY. Look at how aware fedor is about that move his arm is blocking the knee while he punched.

it makes perfect sense to do this cuz most fighters go for a takedown to neutralize a striker when cornered. Fedor was at a lunged stance he stopped (1:48) when he saw Arlovski was going for the knee then he bent to his left for the punch,

i think AA's not use to a ring (same reason i think tim silva got f'd up so quick) . And how quick fedor bounced off the ropes to back within his reach caught AA way off guard. If you watch the first half of the round, every looping punch fedor threw was over his head with his chin down (smart way to punch with a such a tall opponent). And AA is good about fighting tall. AA thought there was gunna be a lot more space when he jumped up. A lot of guys train in a ring but get used to truely fighting in the cage. Cage's should be for mma and rings for boxing in my opinion.

This fight looks like other fights of Fedor, he has been punch before, and very hard, other fighters almost win, like in the case of Fedor-Mark Hunt, but It doesn´t matter how the fight is, Fedor has something other fights don´t have, even when he is about to lose HE ALWAYS WINS, and if he looses a fight someday it doesn´t mean nothing, he has nothing to prove until now, HE IS THE BEST.

dude, arlovski did not have him by the ropes, that is Fedors favourite position. Arlovski was totally neutralized in close combat, though he got some real fast punches which totally missed. Where to start here…Fedor was already into the punch before AA even got off the ground. He wasn't able to attempt the flying knee because he was eating leather. For all you non-believers out there who need proof, watch fedor's old fights and look at who he has fought and how he has defeated them. Cro Cop, Noguiera, Randleman, Coleman, Goodridge, Sylvia, Arlovski, Heath Herring, as well as several fighters that were over 7 feet tall and outweighed him by a considerable amount. Never been defeated (yes he has a loss but it was from a cut from an illegal blow), not once. He has very very rarely been dazed and when he has been, he has shown he knows exactly what to do to get out of trouble. Take the Randleman fight, DUDE SLAMMED HIM ON HIS MF'ING HEAD, and calmly proceeds to reverse his position in 5 SECONDS, pound on his head, PIN HIS ARM DOWN WITH ONE HAND and submit him with a kimura. Watch his fight against Gary Goodridge and try to say that he didn't make him look like a biatch. He was relentless and I'm not sure Goodridge even landed a glancing blow. I could go on but I dont have to, watch his fights. There is no one in this guy's league ANYWHERE. As for Brock Lesnar, if he has any sense in him, he will avoid fighting Fedor as long as he fights. Fedor has proven he can beat anybody of any size or skill, wrestler or brawler, anybody and everybody. My guess is you will never see Fedor fight in the UFC or see any more UFC affiliated fighters willing to go toe to toe with Fedor. Ok first off fedor has a little fat… so what that doesnt me ANYTHING… he lost 1 fight out of nearly 40 and the only reason he lost is he was in a tourny he had to fight EVERY DAY… the fighter reopened a previous cut… so the gave him the loss just so they could have some one go on… you go fight fedor… but even IF and a HUGE if assuming you had the balls… youd get hit 1 time and the next thing you knew was your brain reseting back to you moms breast… idiot
