WWE Fans Need To Get Behind Roman Reigns

It’s pretty easy to tell from the Roman Reigns via satellite interviews on WWE television of late that WWE hasn’t changed their minds on Reigns, and he likely will be walking out of WrestleMania 31 as the new WWE champion, and as the man who finally took out Brock Lesnar.

For the better part of the last decade WWE fans have been calling for a John Cena heel turn, as they’re tired of seeing the same old John Cena. During that time WWE has been reluctant to turn Cena, despite the fact that Cena is almost always being pelted with boos from the majority of the fans in almost every arena WWE performs in.

One of the reasons WWE has been reluctant to turn Cena is because they don’t believe that there’s anyone that can take his place. They don’t believe that there’s anyone that can bring out the emotion from the fans quite like Cena does, and they don’t want to risk damaging Cena’s character by turning him heel if they’re not sure they have someone who can fill his shoes as the top babyface.

There are already fans who are beginning to boo Roman Reigns because they know that WWE is planning to make him their next mega-star. Unfortunately, that’s the only reason some fans are booing Reigns, as every other aspect of his character is the opposite of John Cena, and Reigns is an extremely likable babyface.

One of the many reasons people boo John Cena is because it’s hard to relate to him. He rarely shows any emotion, and he seems to not care about anything most of the time. In the rare times Cena does cut a passionate, serious promo, almost every fan in the arena cheers him, and he comes off as someone you really want to get behind. It’s strange how WWE has never picked up on that, and made his promos be more passion-based, instead of being mostly bad comedy.

Reigns, on the other hand, is a serious, a** kicking babyface. Yes, he may not be the best technical wrestler in WWE, but who cares? As a character, Reigns is someone you can really get behind, and even though he’s not the best in-ring technician, he’s still ten times more coordinated than John Cena.

WWE fans booing Reigns simply because they know he’s going to be WWE’s next big star is absolutely ridiculous, and if WWE fans eventually want a Cena heel turn, and want it sooner rather than later, if at all, they need to strongly get behind Roman Reigns. If they don’t, well, WWE will just keep going back to the John Cena well until they can find a replacement for him.

So, to sum it all up, get behind Roman Reigns! If you don’t, you’ll be seeing the same old John Cena on top until he literally can’t move anymore.
