Kate Middleton Nude Graffiti Enthralls London Neighborhood

A spray-painted graffiti picture of Kate Middleton in the nude and heavily pregnant has completely enthralled a London neighborhood.

The Duchess Of Cambridge looks incredibly happy in the piece of art, which suddenly appeared on a wall on Caledonian Road in Islington over the last few days. The artist responsible for the creation is called Pegasus Street.

The image sees Kate Middleton completely in the nude except for a huge smile on her face. She has a small crown on her baby bump too. It is also tagged and captioned with “Game Of Thrones,“ which alludes to the hugely popular HBO television series. The artist also made sure to add Kate Middleton’s engagement ring too, which previously used to belong to Princess Diana, her husband, Prince William’s mother.

The picture is an homage to Demi Moore’s famous pose that she made back in 1991 when she was seven months pregnant. The actress’ picture was published on the cover of Vanity Fair in August 1991, and it was also accompanied by the article, “More Demi Moore” by Nancy Collins.

The stencil of the Duchess of Cambridge won’t be erased and Councillor Paul Convery, who represents the Caledonian Ward, insisted to the Islington Gazette that it wasn’t graffiti.

“It’s public art, a very urban type of art, and it’s tongue in cheek. All down the Cally we have art like this that is either semi-authorised or not authorised at all, but it’s all good stuff. We will do what we can to keep it because it brightens the neighborhood up.”

Convery’s comments come after numerous individuals protested the picture and declared that it was both tasteless and disrespectful.

Twenty-nine-year-old Pegasus Street has become hugely popular over the last few months, and he has even drawn Kate as the Virgin Mary in the past too [via LBC].

In fact, because of the American street artist’s work, the company that owns the wall that he emblazoned the image on have admitted that they’ve already had several offers to buy the piece.

According to Entertainment Wise, Faith Inc Gallery, which is based in Islington, north London, confirmed last week, “It’s only been up since last night and I’ve already had two offers to buy it prised off the wall, which isn’t possible anyway.”
