‘DWTS’: Sadie Robertson Talks Duggar Comparisons, Gets Injured, And Reveals Her Man Crush
Sadie Robertson just might score the Duggar vote tonight on Dancing with the Stars.
The Duck Dynasty star often gets compared to the 19 Kids and Counting family because she also comes from a conservative Christian family with their own reality show. She also slightly resembles Jessa Duggar and Jill Duggar, and she has a super-strict father who worries about how much skin she shows.
During a recent interview with E! News, Sadie Robertson shared her feelings about being compared to the Duggar daughters.
“Actually I’ve met the Duggars once, and they’re great people. To be compared to them is actually an honor, not anything bad. They’re wonderful people.”
Sadie went on to say that she’d love to spend more time with the 19 Kids and Counting stars because she thinks that it’s cool that she and Duggars share a lot of the same values.
However, Robertson is doing something that Jessa Duggar and Jill Duggar would never dream of doing by competing on Dancing with the Stars. According to E! Online, Michelle Duggar discourages her daughters from dancing because movin’ and groovin’ with a guy can cause “sensual” feelings.
It might not be the best time for Sadie Robertson to embrace being compared to the anti-dance Duggars. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar caused a pretty big controversy by deleting photos of same-sex couples kissing from their Facebook page. This led to the creation of a petition to cancel 19 Kids and Counting, and it’s already been signed by thousands of people.
Being compared to the Duggars might be the least of Robertson’s worries right now. The Duck Dynasty star recently worried her fans by sharing a photo of herself sitting in a cryotherapy chamber. Sadie is smiling in the Instagram snap below, but her caption indicates that she’s nursing some sort of leg injury.
“-240 degrees is not my look. But thank you #cryohealthcare for helping my leg out!”
Sadie’s injury might have a negative effect on her Dancing with the Stars performance tonight, but luckily she’s come up with a backup plan to increase her score. The cheeky teen tried to butter up judge Len Goodman by letting him know that he’s a perfect 10 in her book.

Last week, Sadie Robertson proved that she’s talented enough to score tens without begging for them. She and DWTS pro partner Mark Ballas scored their first perfect score for their trio routine, and they proved that they shouldn’t be underestimated by the other competitors.
Tonight on the Dancing with the Stars Semi-Finals, it’s Plugged/Unplugged Night. Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas will perform two different dances to two different versions of “Problem” by Ariana Grande. They’ll dance a quickstep to the original song and an Argentine Tango to a raw “unplugged” version performed by Noah Guthrie.
