Bennett and Gaga are expected to dazzle their audience once more, as it is clear the two have an incredible chemistry when onstage. According to People, these songbirds became “fast friends” back in 2011 when they met at The Robin Hood Foundation Charity Gala. Their initial collaboration resulted in rave reviews from music lovers spanning multiple generations. The “unlikely duo” is one that promotes a vast audience and links the older and younger generations of music lovers, inspiring them to appreciate the classics from a fresh perspective.

Bennett and Gaga’s “Lady is a Tramp” track collaboration was the only one on the album Tony Bennett: Duets II that included a range of talented stars such as Mariah Carey, John Mayer and Carrie Underwood on additional tracks. Cheek to Cheek is a full 15-track collaboration between Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga. Bennett’s admiration for the 28-year-old pop sensation was showcased in an interview with the Toronto Sun on October 29, 2014.

“The first thing I found out is that Lady Gaga is very talented and bright. She sings beautifully. She’s got great training. She’s very thoughtful about what she wants to do. The main thing is she’s a wonderful improviser — she never sings the same song twice “

Lady Gaga’s admiration for the famed crooner is also considerably great, and this was quite evident when she gushed about her first meeting with Tony Bennett to MTV News upon the release of their first duet together in 2011.
