Kate Middleton Is Coming To The U.S. Next Month, Will Bring Prince William Along
It seems that Kate Middleton and her husband, Prince William, will be coming to the U.S next month. The Duchess of Cambridge has recently resumed her royal duties, after suffering from a severe case of morning sickness during her second pregnancy.
Catherine must be feeling well enough to take on a transatlantic flight with a toddler in tow, which is no small feat. The announcement came via the Clarence House Twitter account on Friday morning.

The official statement about Kate Middleton and Prince William’s visit to the U.S. reads in part.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit the USA between 7th and 9th December 2014.
“Their Royal Highnesses will travel to New York for a programme of engagements which will also see The Duke visit Washington DC for a day, while The Duchess remains in New York.
“The Duke and Duchess will attend events on behalf of the Royal Foundation and other charities with which Their Royal Highnesses are closely associated, and also on behalf of HM Government.
“In support of U.K. Government initiatives, The Duke and Duchess will attend events that celebrate the successful partnerships between the UK and USA in the technology and creative industries sectors. This follows events in support of these sectors that Their Royal Highnesses attended in 2011 in California, and reflects The Royal Family’s ongoing support for the creative and technology sectors.”
The royal visit is mostly focused on charitable work and cooperation with American entities, however, there will also be time for some other activities. Included in the program is a visit to the newly opened September 11 Memorial and the attendance to an NBA game.
Plans also see Prince William traveling to the nation’s capital, while Kate Middleton remains in New York City, where she will join the Big Apple’s first lady, Chirlane McCray, on a visit to a local child development center. Duchess Kate will also attend a lunch, hosted by the British Consul General in New York, to celebrate the achievements of a successful British community in New York from the culture, arts, hospitality, and business sectors, according to the Palace.
This is the first visit by either Kate Middleton or Prince William to both New York City and Washington, D.C. in any capacity. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s last official visit to the U.S. was to California in 2011.
No mention of Prince George in the official press release, but we assume the young royal will be accompanying his parents on what would be his first visit to America as well. It remains to be seen what kind of reaction Kate Middleton will garner in the U.S., but we can expect lots of cute photos of her royal baby bump.
