Howard Stern May Be Next Judge On “America’s Got Talent”

Howard Stern has been rumored as a judge for many of televisions top contestant driven reality TV shows and on Thursday yet another rumor sprung from the ashes. According to the Wall Street Journal the king of shock jock radio may soon be a judge on the hit talent series America’s Got Talent.
While Stern has left lucrative judging paydays on the table in the past the newspaper says NBC officials are very serious about hiring the shock jock and have even discussed moving America’s Got Talent from Los Angeles to New York just so Stern will come on-board.
If Stern accepts the offer he will reportedly be paid $15 million a year for his time spent on the show, money he will earn on top of his multi-million dollar Sirius XM paychecks.
If the rumor is true insiders say Stern would replace Piers Morgan who announced this week that he would be leaving the show to focus his efforts on his fledgling CNN program which he took over after Larry King retired.
At this time news of the Howard Stern judging choice is just a rumor and there’s no guarantee that he will accept the gig.
I understand that Stern has made more than half a billion dollars during his radio career but honestly why wouldn’t he take $15 million just to walk down the street from his apartment and host a show where he sits around and criticizes people like he already does so well.
Would you be willing to watch a Howard Stern judged America’s Got Talent?

If Stern is on there I wouldn't even turn it on!

AGT is a family show and Stern doesn't fit that. So no I probably would not watch it anymore only because I couldn't stand to support anything he is in.

Nope, sure wouldn't Howard Stern is a pig.

Id love it! Most of you out there know NOTHING about Howard. Fake perceptions and plain ignorance. Howard is a kind , intelligent person. He loves supporting Animal Causes, plays chess, and enjoys a quiet life with his lovely wife Beth. He has a enlightening sense of humor, and would make a great addition alongside two of his long time friends Sharon and Howie.

Stern is bigger and better than that show and could only improve it. he is friendly with both Sharon and Howie. Those who "hate" him have no clue about him. Ever hear any scandal? No..he is honest and knows about talent. too bad I'd be forced then to watch this show.

Rochelle, one thing I will say about Stern is that the guy knows how to reinvent himself for what the audience wants…he started on less than stellar radio stations and molded himself into the nation's top shock jock, I think if anything he'll be a Simon type "tell it as it is" judge which is what these competitions need. Nothing he says on AGT can be any worse than some of the things he says on his Sirius XM show.

James Johnson Well on this morning's show he did not say he was going and if anything he is honest. people say he isn't the same but really in 30 years one would hope he has evolved. haven't we all changed over time? good grief.. I am not the same at 56 as i was at 26. he is an entertainer and he does entertain. I don't like all the stuff on the show (like i need to hear about strippers?) but so what? i wait for the interviews, the talking, the stuff i enjoy. I don't care if people don't care for him but it is typically those who have never listened to him and that is annoying.
