Halloween Rap: ‘#Xmas Jammies’ Family Takes On Trick-Or-Treat With Snoop Doggy Dog Parody [Video]

The Holderness family has a Christmas rap, “#Xmas Jammies” and another about back to school shopping, “Baby Got Class.” Now they’re taking on Halloween and trick-or-treat in “Kin and Moose.”

Dad is a wanna-be rap star again, this time to the tune of Snoop Dogg’s rap anthem “Gin and Juice,” with the family backing him up dressed as characters from the Disney movie Frozen.

According to the Inqusitr, the family’s other two videos went viral and their Halloween rap appears to be doing the same thing — it already has over 400,000 views on YouTube.

In the video, mom and dad lament on not getting to dress in adult costumes when the kids insist on the family dressing as Frozen characters.

You can’t help but smile when the kids win, and Dad, dressed in a moose costume instead of the shiny gold M.C. Hammer one that was his first choice, strolls down the street rapping, “Rollin’ down the street with my kin-folk dressed as a giant moose. Laid back. With my mind on my candy and my candy on my mind.”

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Penn Holderness and his wife, Kim, both formerly worked in television news — he as a sports anchor and she as a reporter. Dad left to open his own production company, and the Raleigh, North Carolina family has since become veterans at making parodies for YouTube.

You have to wonder what they have up their sleeve for Thanksgiving.
