‘The Wonder Years’ Cast Reunites Again, See Kevin And Winnie All Grown Up

The cast of The Wonder Years was up for another reunion. To continue to promote their DVD box set of the classic 80s show, stars Fred Savage, Danica McKellar and Josh Saviano gathered on Good Morning America to talk about growing up on America’s most well known television shows.

The trio was on The Wonder Years for six years before the show went off the air, and it seems like they had a lot to reminisce about. One cast mate in particular had a lot to say about how much the landscape has changed in American television. Fred Savage, who played lead Kevin Arnold, was very knowledgable on the subject given that he’s directed for series television shows following his acting career.

“I think the way that families have been portrayed on TV has evolved as we have.”

He continued to explain to Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts.

“Ours was a very kind of nuclear, traditional family, but as families have changed, and they look different, they come together in different ways, I love that TV’s reflected that. No matter how families change, there’s still things that all families go through. Regardless of what your family looks like or how it’s been put together, I think you can find stuff to relate to in the show. Some things stay the same.”

As for the other cast members, Danica McKellar, who played Kevin Arnold’s main squeeze Winnie, had a successful run on Dancing with The Stars and is trying to get back into acting. Kevin’s nerdy friend Paul, played by Josh Saviano, is still not Marilyn Manson, for whom he was often confused in the 90s. These days, Saviano is a practicing attorney and has left the entertainment business entirely.

This isn’t the first time the cast reunited to promote the long awaited DVD series. Back in the summer, the cast of The Wonder Years made several appearances and shared their fun day with their Twitter followers.

Back in July Savage said, “We were so little and so young and it was such a big part of our life. It was half our life at that time, you know?”
