Jude Law Expecting Fifth Child With Ex-Girlfriend

Jude Law is about to be a father for the fifth time! The father, who has four children from two previous relationships, announced to People that he’s expecting a fifth with ex-girlfriend Catherine Harding.

In a statement given by his rep, Law confirms the news.

“I can confirm that Jude Law and Catherine Harding are expecting a child together in the spring.”

Although they are no longer together, the couple hopes to put aside their differences and will raise the baby together.

“Whilst they are no longer in a relationship, they are both wholeheartedly committed to raising their child. They consider this a private matter and other than this confirmation no statement will be made. I ask that you respect the privacy of all parties involved and their families.”

This is the first child for the couple. Law has three children with his ex-wife Sadie Frost: sons Rafferty, 18, and Rudy, 12, and daughter Iris, 13, are children he fathered when the two were married. The couple divorced back in 2003 after six years of marriage. After that he moved on to longtime girlfriend Sienna Miller. The pair split in 2009 and in 2011 after trying to make it work once more.

Shortly after that, Law had a relationship with model Samantha Burke, and the couple had a daughter Sophia, 4. Although Law has kept a relatively low profile since caught in a cheating scandal, The Daily Mail reports that his last linked relationship is to actress Ruth Wilson. Despite the reports the two claim that they are just friends.

In a 2011 interview with The Observer, the actor had this to say about staying clear of being a public figure and finding time to live his life as a father successfully.

“I don’t want some sort of sob story. I still enjoy a very normal life with my kids. We use trains and buses and that’s often the best way. If you build up some sort of psychological bubble around you, I think you’re asking for trouble.”

Law’s oldest son Rafferty is also snagging headlines these days for his modeling photos. Back in June, Rafferty was shown modeling DKNY during a menswear fashion show in London. The aspiring model is the spitting image of his father Jude. Check it out!
