Huge Amount Of ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ Concept Art Leaked Online [Major Spoilers]

A major cache of purported Star Wars: Episode VII concept art has leaked online, posted on an Imageshack account under the name of themilleniumfalcon, potentially revealing major plot points from the next film in the series over a year before its release.

According to Nuke The Fridge, the concept art fits descriptions previously related by Making Star Wars. The images depict a number of new concepts and characters for the Star Wars universe, including a cyborg character who appears to be a villain, embracing a young woman in one picture who is rumored to be “Kira.” As io9 notes, Kira, a character thought to be played by Daisy Ridley, may or may not be Han and Leia Solo’s child in Star Wars: Episode VII.

Other images depict vehicles, characters and locales that will be familiar to Star Wars fans. Chewbacca appears in one design, sporting a cybernetic appendage in place of his right arm, noted to be the result of a war wound. Imperial stormtroopers appear in other images, guarding a TIE fighter in one, while a second depicts them with helmets similar to designs leaked earlier this year. In one image, a stormtrooper sports a cape, lending credence to the rumor that they may appear as a security force for Adam Driver’s character in Episode VII. As The Inquisitr noted several weeks ago, another leaked image depicted stormtroopers wearing chrome armor, also thought to indicate their role as a security force.

The familiar locales of the Star Wars universe are represented in the concept art as well. The Millennium Falcon appears in a docking bay similar to the one it occupied on Tatooine in the original Star Wars while a new landspeeder swoops across a desert planet. An Imperial AT-AT lies on its side, also in a desert, providing a makeshift shelter while a crashed Star Destroyer looms in another painting.

Most intriguingly for Star Wars fans, the cyborg character appears in two of the images cradling the burned helmet of Darth Vader. Speculation has been rampant that the Sith Lord may appear in Star Wars: Episode VII, an idea seemingly confirmed in the concept art.

Fans can head to Imageshack to check out the full array of images. Star Wars: Episode VII opens on December 18, 2015.
