The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga has been trying to keep a low profile this week with her sister-in-law’s sentencing last week. When Teresa Giudice and Joe were in court, everyone was wondering where the family’s support system was at. Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa were not present at the courthouse and they were not there to console them after the sentences were handed down.
Melissa Gorga and Joe did not send out any tweets after the sentencing and they took the weekend to work through their emotions regarding the final verdict. Now, Melissa is ready to share her thoughts on the sentencing. And she reveals that she is completely heartbroken over how the cases ended.
According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga reveals that she is completely heartbroken over the way the case ended. And she asks her fans to keep the Giudice children in their prayers.
“Obviously this has been a very tough week. We are heartbroken for our family and especially those four sweet girls. Pray for them. No matter how you feel, I hope everyone is wishing their family strength and faith,” Melissa Gorga revealed on the official Bravo website after taking the weekend to rethink everything that has happened.
Plus, the weekend was an emotional rollercoaster for the family. After the sentencing, Melissa Gorga and Teresa were placed on the couches in New Jersey to film the reunion. Giudice also filmed a sit-down interview with Andy Cohen to get some candid responses that were not suited for the reunion.
Rather than sitting on opposite couches, Melissa Gorga sat right beside her sister-in-law to offer her support.
“Melissa sat next to Teresa the entire time. Rumors floating around social media to the contrary and rumors suggesting they were fighting simply aren’t true,” a source has revealed.
Even Andy Cohen denied that Giudice skipped the reunion. She is often very professional, and Melissa Gorga may have been forced to answer questions she didn’t want to address.
“Nobody was late to the reunion, folks. everybody was a pro. #RHONJ,” he said after filming, adding that the reunion was clearly “intense and emotional.”
Melissa Gorga has said that she won’t let reality television ruin her marriage or family, according to The Inquisitr, but this sentencing has most certainly has rattled her family. With her husband being Teresa’s brother, he is probably shocked over these sentences. He has yet to say anything.
