Fox has announced the cancellation of Prison Break.
Prison Break first went to air in 2005 with strong ratings, but slowly lost viewers as the show progressed. From a peak of 12.1 million viewers the third series averaged only 6.1 million. Fox ordered an additional two episodes for Season 4 in November, sparking rumors that they may be the finale for the show; the rumors turned out right.
The fourth and final series of Prison Break will air on Fox Friday nights from April 17.

Fox does suck. Maybe Larry the Cable Guy will team up with George Lopez for Fox's next big hit. Most people are retarded and if you've ever seen Fox news shows, you can tell that Fox not only caters to retards, but wants to keep people retards.
Oh well. Prison Break was good and I was invested, but it wasn't great. And I'm already over it.

this is bull shit every time you like a show it gets cancelled who cares how many seasons there are its a story and it would be nice too see how the story is going to end for once the dirctors said in the bonus features of prison break season 1 they have scripts up to 5 seasons so i dont kno why they dont just let it go screw the ratings its made it this far id like to see it end at season 5 cuz i have a feeling its goig to be a good endinh but if it gets cancelled it will you with a stupid ending and leave u hanging thinking what would have happen next did they ever take the company down that put his brother in jail which was hinted in season one that micheal aways wanted to find the people that were trying to burry his brother and take them down besides that also did they ever get there scubba shop in mexico and sucre came to work with them cuz its a promice linkin made and did micheal did he marry sarah and so fourth if ur a prison break fan u see where im going with this,

Prison Break is my fav series ! I was a religious watcher, i have all seasons on dvd and watch them alot. I do have many friends who are talking about how the series was cancelled and we are all upset over the fact. We are praying to see season 5!! Hope they change their minds!!

the show was moving in2 dangerous territory telling the truth about just how corrupt the government really is,ur government are just puppets on strings being told what 2 do by “the company” or as most people call them the new world order,thats not a very positive story to be telling with all this change obama nosense i keep hearing bout!ow no! peace from ireland loved the show.

Fuck the Fox network and all its executives. They have done this shit before. They always end it with a shitty story or no story. I got involved with the show Millennium and it shut down with no finale. They have done this to several shows in the past and will do it in the future. These fucked up networks make their own crazy seasonal schedules. It is bad enough the shows that interest me are preempted by god damn racing, football, basketball, president talking shit and all. Now is the best time to junk your television before we go digital and never buy another one. It is an evil we all can do without. We should be living life rather than watching the bullshit these damned networks put on. ……………………Schreck

I am so upset. I love the show and was hoping that it would be able to last. Through all the seasons i have been on the edge of my seat not believing what was happening to the characters. The screenplay is amazing. What's next for all the actors? I will remain a PB true fan and will miss the show very much.

I wonder if it's cancelled cause it depected just how corrupt our government is. How devastating! Prison Break is FANTASTIC!!!!!!! The acting is great, most of the men are HOT! What a major loss. What is Fox thinking?

I LOVE PRISON BREAK! Or Prison Bah Rah is its called in my house but i must say i am glad they ended it…. to be a great programme it needed a strong ending and it gone one. I'll miss you though
