Justin Bieber Promises ‘New Music’ During Caribbean Vacation With Selena Gomez

The Biebs is back, and ready to get “back to work” and release long overdue “new music,” says the oft-shirtless one himself.

Currently Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are on a romantic vacation in Saint Martin, an idyllic island in the Caribbean.

From the mix of his social media posts, the couple’s loved-up holiday appears to be going well.

But, it seems, even paradise can get tedious.

“I’ve been on this break for too long. #newmusic #back2work #vacationtimesup,” the Biebs vowed in his caption to a selfie he posted on Saturday, adding that the music to come was “longoverdue.”

The shot showed Justin standing on a stone wall on a hill against an ocean backdrop and a view of a town.

He followed up with tweets on Monday that read:

On Friday, Bieber’s driver posted a black and white pic of Justin and Selena against the same later seen ocean vista.

It was captioned, “beautiful views.”

At the end of last year, both Bieber and his manager Scooter Braun said the then 19-year-old would take 2014 as a timeout. The decision followed the singer’s 15-month “Believe” tour and a string of incidents on and off the run — including a graffiti spree, an incendiary South America leg and clashes with paparazzi.

With hindsight, 2014 would bring a whole new set of troubles. But the “Confident” singer — who released his last studio album Believe Acoustic in 2013 — has managed to deliver new music even though he is still officially on a break.

Last December, Justin released Journals, an uneven but gleaming album showcased in weekly single releases from October onward, until the album’s limited release on iTunes.

From the pristine pain of “Heartbreaker,” to the funked up “Rollercoaster,” sensuousness of “Hold Tight” and the Biebs’ duet with R. Kelly on “PYD” — to name just a few, Journals introduced audiences to the Canadian’s take on R&B.

The collection offered nuanced production and confessional lyrics many speculated were about Bieber’s on-off relationship with Gomez.

Throughout 2014, Bieber continued to drop free songs such as “Broken” and “We Were Born For This”.

The 20-year-old was expected to drop a first single “within days” with Australian teen idol Cody Simpson, ahead of their November-releasing duets album, according to 97.5 Now FM radio.

However, despite Bieber’s vow to roll out new music, the singer told fans last week that releases could be delayed following a cliff diving mishap which left him with a perforated eardrum that may require surgery.

The frustrated-sounding star tweeted about his accident, writing, “Busted my ear drum cliff diving. Doc says might need surgery now. Sucks.”

He added, “My ear drum might back us up a little but I’m still bringing you this new music. Much love. Damn u cliff diving!”

Before his “new music” declaration, Justin kept fans happy by posting shirtless shots.

One on a boat, the other among exotic palm trees.

In another snap, the heartthrob rode an ATV along a road in Saint Martin.

And for Jelena devotees, Justin posted a photo of Selena, wearing a tight dress revealing her to-die-for figure.

On Sunday, the Biebs uploaded pictures of himself in bed getting “Breaky in bed,” followed by a foot massage shot “Long day,” and a sign off before bed, captioned, “Night.”

In a nutshell, then, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s Caribbean vacation in Saint Martin appears to have inspired the wild star to end his year-long break and get into the studio.

Presumably, the Biebs is talking about his solo output, since both he and Simpson have hit the studio over the summer to write their upcoming album.
