Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus Starts Taking Pre-Orders

Buyers in the U.S. Market now have the ability to pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus after electronics retailer J&R added the gadget to their website.

Under the company’s listing the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is far cheaper in the United States than currently offered to European customers with a starting price of just $400 with the devices 32GB version available for a still reasonable $500.

When announcing the Android based tablet last month Samsung did not provide any specific launch information or pricing with one of the first pricing acknowledgments coming from Italy with a cost of €499 (~$680 USD).

The Android 3.2-based tablet features some nice options including a dual-core 1.2GHz processor with 1GB RAM and a seven-inch display that outputs at 1024 x 600 pixels of resolution. The device also features two cameras including a three-megapixel sensor that can shoot 720p video while 3G capabilities are also available.

No shipping date was provided by J&R but the device is expected to start shipping in November. [via SlashGear]
