Buy a large drink at Subway, get access to Uncharted 3 multiplayer early

If the Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta left you hungry for more, Sony and Subway – and yes, I mean the restaurant – have teamed up for a rather interesting promotion that will allow you to play the multiplayer one month before the game’s release, starting today.

If you head over to your local Subway and pick up a specially marked large, 30 oz drinks, you’ll be given a code which you can redeem for full-on access to Uncharted 3‘s multiplayer. That’s right, full-on access – access to all maps and everything up to level 35.

Even better, all of your progress – unlocks, level and what have you – will carry over when the full game is released in November, so not only do you get a chance to try it out early, you’ll also have a leg up on the competition.

Throughout the early access promotion, you’ll be able to unlock a whole bunch of Subway-themed gear, including hats, t-shirts and even a “five dollar footlong” taunt.

Even if you don’t particularly care for having your character be a walking, talking, shooting advertisement for Subway, this is a good opportunity to get some quality time with Uncharted 3‘s multiplayer ahead of its release.
