‘Teen Mom’ Amber Portwood Has A New Man

Teen Mom star Amber Portwood has a new man. The MTV personality has officially moved on from her baby daddy, Gary Shirley, and has found another special person.

According to Starcasm, Amber is doing well in her quest for sobriety, and adjusting to life as a young mom after her prison stay last year. However, now Amber reveals that she has found someone else to love, but is taking things very slow, as she has issues, such as having a hard time trusting men.

“I have been talking specifically to one person and I really do feel like I love him, but we’re not together. We’re taking things really slow. I have to get myself back in gear and tell myself, ‘Ok, I can trust men, I just have to not be naive.’ That’s a problem that I have because I’m very naive when it comes to love… I do believe that I trust this man. I hope that I can trust him.”

Meanwhile, the Teen Mom says that she and Gary Shirley are also getting along well. In fact, they’re doing better than ever, because they no longer have a romantic relationship.

“We don’t really argue anymore because we don’t have that personal relationship anymore. [That’s] a good thing.”

However, Amber Portwood hasn’t just been busy falling in love and mending fences with her ex-boyfriend. The Teen Mom has also been working on a new book, a memoir that will details her life and struggles with depression, drug abuse, and overcoming tough issues in her life.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Amber Portwood is hoping to help other people with similar issues by sharing her story.

In addition to her new book, Amber Portwood will be back for another season of Teen Mom, and will be joined by co-stars Maci Bookout and Catelynn Lowell. Noticeably absent from the reunion season is Farrah Abraham, who was not asked back for another season of Teen Mom after her career in the sex industry took off, Teen Mom News reported.

It will be interesting to see if fans will get a glimpse of Amber Portwood’s new man on the upcoming season of Teen Mom, or if she’ll keep him under wraps as the two move slowly into a trusting relationship.

Fans can expect to see Amber Portwood back on MTV during a Teen Mom catch up special this fall, and the reunion season sometime in 2015. Hopefully, viewers will be pleased with Amber’s progress in life.
