Arie Luyendyk Jr. Heartbroken Over ABC’s Big Decision?

Arie Luyendyk Jr. has been a fan favorite since Emily Maynard’s season of The Bachelorette. He almost made it to the finale, but Emily chose her genuine connection with Jef Holm over her infatuation with Arie. Everyone thought that Luyendyk Jr. would be the next person in line to find love on the show, but hunky blonde Sean Lowe was chosen instead.

But Arie didn’t give up on love. He dated Ben Flajnik’s ex Courtney Robertson for a brief moment in time, but has since then been single. Fans of the show were eager to vote him back on television, but he had stiff competition. Chris Soules had become a new favorite, and fans were eager to apply for the show in hopes of being the next Mrs. Soules.

According to a new tweet, Arie Luyendyk Jr. is now sharing his honest opinion about not being chosen as the next contestant on The Bachelor.

“I’m not the Bachelor, have fun on the farm people,” Arie confirmed on his account yesterday, but followed the tweet up with his honest reaction.

“Thanks for the kind words everyone. It wasn’t meant to be, and I’m okay with it. Happy I can move forward,” Arie added.

With his comment, “have fun on the farm,” Luyendyk Jr. is hinting that his biggest competition will be the next Bachelor. Women who watched The Bachelorette fell in love with Soules and his family. But it is no secret that Luyendyk Jr. had truly hoped that he would be chosen.

Arie Luyendyk Jr. had previously revealed that it was all up to the viewers. Just last month, he had tweeted that it was truly up to the fans who they wanted on the show. Arie added that he was eager to share the journey to find love, and according to The Inquisitr, Arie could have be the chosen one.

But the desire to see Chris Soules find love, the lonely farmer from Iowa, completely beat out Arie Luyendyk Jr. For some, there wasn’t even competition between the two. Even though Arie won’t find love on the show this time around, he could be chosen for a future season. Emily Maynard and Brad Womack were both brought back a long time after their first attempts to find love.

Even though ABC has not officially announced Chris Soules as the next Bachelor, Luyendyk Jr. does seem a little heartbroken over not getting the chance. If he was asked tomorrow, it sounds like he would jump at the chance.
