Hayden Panettiere Baby Girl: Hayden Confirms She’s Expecting A Girl On Emmy’s Red Carpet
Hayden Panettiere is pregnant with a baby girl!
The Nashville actress was chatting with Giuliana Rancic on E! when she let the sex of her unborn child actually slip out! Rancic asked Panettiere about her baby-to-be, and Panettiere said, “I can’t wait to meet her.” When Giuliana asked if Hayden just confirmed that she was having a girl, Hayden said, “yeah, I guess I did.” According to The Huffington Post, Hayden — and her baby girl bump — is presenting during tonight’s show.
The 25-year-old recently sat down with Glamour Magazine for an interview where she said that she was “born to be a mother.”
“I don’t really have a plan. I’ve lived a very big life, and I don’t feel my age, and I feel like I was born to be a mother. Sometimes people speak about [having kids] like, ‘Your life ends—you’re never going to be able to do anything again!’ And I’m like, ‘What are you talking about?’ Motherhood is the most beautiful, exciting thing, and there’s nothing that I feel like I can’t accomplish while having children in my life. I would sacrifice having more years of being wherever I want whenever I want for years with my kids.”

When asked if it was difficult to dress her bump for the Emmy Awards, Hayden said it wasn’t. She chose the third dress that she tried on — and it was definitely a great choice. The only thing difficult for the pregnant star? Walking in heels. She told Rancic that her size 5 feet hurt without shoes now that she’s carrying around the additional weight… and so walking in heels today isn’t exactly easy. Hopefully she will make her way to her seat early (and it wouldn’t be surprising if she kicked her shoes).
In other Hayden Panettiere news, the blonde beauty recently completed the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Hayden nominated country singer Kasey Musgraves, husband-to-be, Wladimir Klitschko, and her unborn child (who sort of did the challenge with her mom). Dancing with the Stars’ Derek Hough assisted Hayden by dumping a bucket of water with ice over the mom-to-be’s head. This was the first time that Hayden mentioned her pregnancy publicly.
As for what she and Wladimir are thinking of naming their baby girl, Hayden said that it has to be a name that is both American and Ukrainian.
