Extra! Karrueche Tran and Chris Brown are trending because Breezy hinted recently about getting his girlfriend pregnant, and maybe putting a ring on it, citing a Hollywood Life report. Is Chrueche ready for a baby — or two — or three?
Before you think this is all fodder and another rumor about Breezy and his exploits, short of this being a Freudian slip, the talk about pregnancy and babies came straight from Breezy’s mouth, not a tabloid or Twitter hoax. Still, take it as a grain of salt.
Early this week for Woman Crush Wednesday, Chris posted a telling message on his Instagram account that hinted at finally settling down, spending a lifetime with the girl of his dreams and becoming a father. The horror, the horror.

Soon thereafter, fans, frenemies, and the tabloid circuit posted comments and offered theories about the couple’s on and off relationship. It’s no secret the lovebirds have had their share of roller coaster drama, but what twenty-something couples haven’t? Just call it a rite of passage or a badge of honor to go through the growing pains of falling in love and finding one’s center.
Perhaps an insider summed it up best about Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran’s future together.
He knows what Karrueche wants, he’s not stupid. He really doesn’t want to make a commitment and then somehow mess it up and break her heart.”
Karrueche is said to be deeply in love with Chris, but is eons away from thinking about becoming his baby mama…yet. For one, the model and aspiring actress is focused on her career and does not want to be forever known as Brown’s side-piece, according to TMZ.
In fact, sources say Karrueche Tran is rumored to be prepping for her new role as 106 & Park‘s next host. If this pans out, she’ll replace the outgoing Keshia Chante, who is pursuing music and acting roles.
As for Karrueche’s nemesis, Rihanna, it seems as if Chris Brown has moved on. A new song “X” from his sixth upcoming studio album of the same name was released on SoundCloud Friday. The joint is a techno-mix ballad and appears to be aimed at his ex RiRi. And while some believe the song could be about Tran, the post on Instagram sort of deflates that rumor quick, fast and in a hurry. The complete album drops next month.
It’s not groundbreaking if Karrueche Tran and her man at the moment decide to simmer down, get out of the fast lane and look forward to a lifetime together — with a house full of rugrats. After all, if Kim Kardashian and Kanye West can motor down, jump the broom and get pregnant, anyone can.
Babies may be a stretch at best — and unplanned pregnancies do happen every now and again — but Karrueche Tran seems to be a ride or die chick, who loves her man unconditionally. And at the end of the day, that’s likely keeping them afloat — and sane.
