Christy Mack Update: Receives Offer For Reconstructive Surgery, Will NOT Return To Porn

Christy Mack continues to get offers for help in her recovery from the brutal beating she suffered. It looks like there may be many more changes on the horizon.

Hollywood Life is reporting that Doctor Harrison H. Lee, a Beverly Hills, CA plastic surgeon has sent a letter to Mack offering his services at no charge. Dr. Lee, who was voted a “top physician” for three consecutive years by the Consumers’ Research Education Council, volunteered his services to help Christy with her healing process.

Dr. Lee told Hollywood Life exclusively that he decided to reach out to Christy with an offer letter because he believes that it’s his duty to help those who are “less fortunate.” He hasn’t heard back from Mack yet.

“First and foremost, as a trained surgeon, I believe that part of my occupation is helping people through giving back to those less fortunate,” Dr. Lee explains. “These occasions usually never hit the media spotlight because they are given freely for everyday people in need of assistance. I do not believe in discrimination as to those I help based on gender, race, occupation or lifestyle. As part of the MMA community, I believe in giving back to those who may have been a victim of someone who potentially used their training for other than its intended purpose and cannot afford medical treatment.”

Christy has been thanking her supporters via her Twitter account. Fellow adult film star Kendall Karson has started a GiveForward page to help raise funds for Mack’s surgeries and recovery. With 86 days left to donate, the website has received over 1,100 donations totalling $76,790. The goal is $100,000.

It looks like Mack, who had been adamant about returning to the adult movie industry after her recovery, has reversed course, according to International Business Times. Mack received a tweet from fellow adult movie star Bonnie Rotten. Rotten’s tweet seems almost derogatory, stating, “Bahaha so @christymack is coming back to porn??????? Hahahahah!”

Mack fired back a missive that could be seen as derogatory, especially the ending. “@thebonnierotten, actually, I’m not. Don’t worry, your job is safe.” This tweet was posted on Saturday, August 16.

Whether or not Mack does indeed return to the adult film industry, what’s more important now is that Mack is getting the help she needs to return to a state of normalcy, or as close as is possible.

Jon Koppenhaver, also known as War Machine, has been captured and is being held without bail for allegedly attacking Mack and brutalizing her. Koppenhaver had to be subdued with a Taser before he was arrested, eyewitnesses report.
