Lea Michele is best known for her work on the television show Glee. But the 27-year-old star is also a New York Times bestselling author as well. And just this past weekend she happily took to Twitter to announce that she’s started writing book number two:
Working on book number two today! Had so much fun writing #BrunetteAmbition, I'm so excited for you guys to read this next one!

Brunette Ambition, released in May, quickly became a New York Times best seller. The actress announced a follow-up soon after. Amazon describes Michele’s Brunette Ambition with the following write-up:
“The star of the hit show Glee shares her experiences and insider tips on beauty, fashion, inner strength, and more in an illustrated book that’s part memoir, part how-to, and part style guide.”
The book also details the many facets of Lea Michele’s career that include more than just starring as Rachel Berry on Glee. It also discusses her fashion sense, her spokeswoman role for L’Oreal and even delves into her music career.
“In Brunette Ambition,” the write-up continues, “[Lea] reveals the lessons and advice that have worked for her–from beauty and fashion secrets to fitness tips, and career insights. Supplemented with never-before-seen photos and revealing anecdotes, it’s the book Lea wishes she’d had in her teens and early twenties: A practical and inspirational guide to harnessing tenacity and passion and living the fullest life, no matter what obstacles life puts in your way.”
Clearly one of the hardest working women in Hollywood, Michele reportedly took Saturday off from writing to hit the spa for a little R&R. According to the Daily Mail, “the actress gave herself a reward on Saturday after working hard on her latest book the day before. Lea was spotted leaving a spa in Agoura Hills following a pamper session, and it had clearly done the trick.”
But not everything in Lea’s life is all smiles. She is still recovering from the death of her former co-star and off-screen boyfriend Corey Monteith. Monteith famously died of a drug overdose last year sending shockwaves thorughout the Hollywood community.
Meanwhile Glee, the show that made them both famous, will be wrapping up it’s six-year-run at the end of this upcoming season. Besides Glee, Lea is also venturing into new acting territory with a guest spot on Sons of Anarchy.
Between that and writing her book it looks as if Lea Michele will be busy for quite some time to come.
