Katy Perry Nose: Singer Gets Nose Pierced On Camera

Katy Perry’s nose is making headlines this week after a video of the singer getting her nose pierced was posted online.

The painful procedure was captured on video and posted for all of Katy Perry’s fans to see. Meanwhile, Katy’s nose is likely still sore after having a thick needle shoved through it, azcentral reports.

In the video, viewers watch as Katy Perry nervously awaits her nose piercing, and even lets out a cry as the trained technician comforts her.

“I know, I’m sorry! Don’t say anything. You’re making me hurt,” he tells the 29-year-old singer in the video.

Perhaps the funniest part about Katy Perry’s nose piercing is that the singer decided to have it done in hopes of covering up an old scar, where she tried to pierce her own nose with a safety pin and an ice cube when she was 13-years-old, the Huffington Post reveals.

“Last time I did this I was on my own with a safety pin & cube of ice @ 13. This time I thought it was best I left it to the pro’s. Sorry mom (again),” Katy Perry captioned the video.

In 2012, Perry opened up about her rebellious teenage act when she told Jay Leno about her epic nose piercing fail.

“I asked my mother permission so I could get my nose pierced and of course she didn’t give it to me. She said it was ridiculous and she wasn’t gonna do that. So she then went on an errand, so I took a safety pin and a piece of ice and I pierced my own nose. I still have this horrible scar that everybody brings up when they get really close,” Katy revealed.

However, as previously reported by The Inquisitr, Katy Perry’s DIY nose piercing isn’t all the singer regrets about her younger self. Katy admits she has regrets about not taking her education more seriously.

Katy Perry’s nose piercing video may be hard for some fans to watch, as many people have a fear of needles, and well, pain. However, others love that Katy shared the moment with her fans, and that she has been very open about her life, including telling the story of her 13-year-old self trying to pierce her own nose.

It’s unclear how long Katy Perry will rock the nose ring, but the brunette beauty is so gorgeous that she can seemingly do no wrong. Hopefully, the stud in her nose won’t take away attention from Katy’s gorgeous face.
