An Unlikely Couple: Watch As This Piglet Plays With Her Best Friend, A Pit Bull Terrier Rescue Dog [Video]

A tiny piglet has become quite attached to a pit bull terrier rescue dog at an animal sanctuary in West Virginia. In the video, 3-week-old Pigalina is already making friends at her new home. However, her best friend is Levi, a pit bull terrier. The playful interactions between Pigalina and Levi were captured on film by owner Melissa Susko at her PIGS Animal Sanctuary. The video was a hit and has been watched over 751,000 times.

After being rejected by her litter, Pigalina was moved to Melissa’s farm and with her new friend Levi. In the video, you see the tiny piglet playfully jumping on and gnawing on the pit bull. She runs around him trying to get him to play with her. At the start of the video, you see the piglet standing up against the large dog, gnawing on his ear. However, Levi the pit bull is not bothered — in fact, he seems to like it. You can even see his tail wagging from behind as the tiny piglet plays with him.

The piglet is not scared of Levi’s big teeth either. You can see her placing her snout under the pit bulls mouth and nose. Pigalina also crawls up the side of the large dog and can be seen chewing on his collar. Levi is not bothered in the slightest by the little piglet and takes it all in good stride.

What do you think of this unlikely friendship? Would you expect a tiny piglet be brave enough to approach a pit bull as large as Levi?

As you can see from this video, pit bulls do have a softer side, and one photographer set out to show the gentler side of pit bulls with her floral-inspired photo shoot. Check it out here.
