Taylor Swift, Lorde Take To The Kitchen For Some BFF Bonding Time
Taylor Swift and Lorde know how to make the best of some quality girl time! The two singers took to Instagram on Monday to post photos of themselves getting hands on during a cooking class in Rhode Island.
According to the Huffington Post, Taylor and Lorde got together and decided that they wanted to take a cooking class together at Ella’s Fine Food and Drink in Westerly, Rhode Island. While the photos were posted to the two singer’s social media accounts on Monday, August 11, it is believed that the actual class was on a previous date considering Taylor has been making trips to a variety of events this past weekend. People reported that Taylor was in Los Angeles on Sunday for the Teen Choice Awards and then in New York on Monday night for The Giver premiere.
Lorde posted the above photo to her Instagram account with the caption: “Took a wonderful cooking class in Rhode Island alongside the already-super-good-cook, ms. @taylorswift.” Taylor then posted a photo of her own to her Instagram:
Taylor’s photo was captioned with: “Thank you to Chef Jeanie at Ella’s Fine Food and Drink for giving us the best and only cooking lesson we’ve ever had! @lordemusic.”
While Taylor claims that this was her first cooking lesson, People stated that the singer has taken a cooking lesson from Ina Garten at the TV chef’s Hamptons home.
Taylor has been a very busy woman the past few days. As stated before, she had a few different events to attend over the weekend. According to a previous report by The Inquisitr, Taylor decided to poke a little fun at her numerous ex-relationships during a speech at this year’s Teen Choice Awards:
“Oh hey guys. You know we’ve had some amazing memories here together at the Teen Choice Awards. And so, I was excited when they asked me to come and present this award, because no one knows more about dramatic males than I do.”
While that little joke may have cracked up the audience, many believed that it was an unnecessary jab at her past relationships:

Taylor Swift’s little dinner date with Lorde may be just what she needs to get herself away from all those “dramatic males” she seems to always come across. After all, girl time and food is always a good combination regardless of your social situation!
