Lady Gaga Posts Picture From A Denver Hospital After Sickness, Announces New Perfume
Lady Gaga took a trip to the hospital recently. The star, who usually posts a lot of her daily activities on Instagram, including her adorable dog, took the time to let fans know that she had to make a pit stop to a Denver hospital after becoming ill.
So what made the “Born This Way” singer so sick? According to Lady Gaga herself, she had to make a stop after her concert at the Pepsi Center due to altitude sickness.
Gaga posed for the picture with an oxygen mask on, complete with false eyelashes, and a full face of makeup. Seemingly unfazed by the moment. The caption on the photo read:
“Altitude Sickness is no Joke! #hitThatHospiitalS–t #artRaveDenver many true ravers crowd tonight.”

While some fans responded to her picture with concern for the singer’s health, many wondered why Gaga’s oxygen mask was upside down.
One commentator said:
“Smart enough to have a record deal but not smart enough to put an oxygen mask on correctly.”
Fortunately on Twitter some fans were a bit more sympathetic with Gaga’s post concert selfie.

Perhaps Gaga was also sick from the poor reviews from her tour. Music critic Matt Miller said this of her Denver show at the Pepsi Center:
“Lady Gaga uses the term “art” twice in the official title of her tour, ‘ArtRave: The Artpop Ball.’ She yelled the word repeatedly at her Pepsi Center crowd on Wednesday in Denver. It’s in the title of her latest album, smashed together with another word: “pop.” She flashed #artrave on enormous HD screens above the stage. But it wasn’t until nearly halfway through her set that Lady Gaga showed any hint of the idea. And even then it was only a brief flash.”
Following her hospitalization it was back to business. Gaga announced via her Instagram that she’s releasing her very own fragrance. It’s not too surprising seeing as this is a very profitable avenue a lot of pop stars are venturing into. Stars like Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, and Britney Spears have extended their brand into perfume and Gaga is just the latest.

According to MTV, Gaga’s fragrance will be called “Eau de Gaga.” Not to discriminate against her wide fan base, Gaga’s new perfume is described as “extremely sexy and arousing for all genders.” The artist teased an image by Steven Klein on her Instagram following her hospitalization. To get the ball rolling with buzz Lady Gaga has been using her Twitter account to drum up fan excitement.

In other Gaga news fans can expect a very special album from the singer on September 23. The artist plans to release a duet disc with legendary crooner Tony Bennett. Currently their song “Anything Goes” is No. 1 on the Billboard charts for digital songs under Jazz.
