Michael Strahan Caught Cheating, Nicole Murphy Planned Announcement Just Before Hall Of Fame Induction

Michael Strahan was reportedly caught cheating on Nicole Murphy, and his jilted fiance announced their breakup before the New York Giants great was about to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Strahan and Murphy just called it quits, ending their seven-year relationship abruptly. Reports from TMZ indicated that Nicole had caught Michael Strahan cheating.

Many are questioning the timing of Murphy’s announcement, which came just before Michael was set to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

“They love each other very much, but with the distance and work schedule it has been hard to maintain the relationship,” Michael’s rep tells People.

Sources say the breakup actually took place a few weeks back, when Michael was hosting Live with Kelly and Michael and Good Morning America in New York and Murphy was in Los Angeles. Sources said that Nicole Murphy waited until she had “proof” of the affair, which she happened to get just before Michael’s big weekend.

It was an abrupt break for Strahan, who seemed to be fine in the past.

“I have a great relationship and she’s a great girl,” Strahan said back in 2009, when they first got engaged. “I don’t like to talk much about my private life, but I’m really happy.”

But they had endured other problems, including allegations that Murphy was unfaithful to Strahan.

Michael Stahan nor Nicole Murphy have responded to the allegations that it was Michael’s infidelity that ended the engagement.
