Despite some of its mini scandals, Burger King’s profits are ever increasing. Just last month Burger was criticized for hiring young people to run the company which was a dig directed at the newest CEO of the company. The criticism came about after it was announced that 33-year-old Daniel Schwarz was the company’s new chief operating officer.

Schwarz came to Burger King in 2010 and was determined to change things around for the better. According to Bidness ETC, his entrepreneurial expertise will bring in more profits for the 61-year-old chain. However, his efforts to restructure the company have made many of his subordinates uncomfortable with the new changes. There is also most likely some level of resentment from older employees who have worked in Burger King’s administrative offices for many years who may have been passed over.

Many have high hopes for the company as Schwarz brings his own team on board with the goal to bring in massive profits for the Burger King companies. The work that Schwarz is doing for Burger King is so impressive that Forbes recognized him as one the most successful CEO’s under 40 years of age.
