Lil Wayne Encounters Crips Gang Member While Hanging Out In Hollywood

Lil Wayne recently had a brush with gang member while hanging out in Hollywood.

The rapper was spending some time with Christina Milian in the land of broken dreams when someone decided to call Weezy out. According to AllHipHop, the guy didn’t hesitate to tell Wayne that he was a member of the Crips. What’s more, the whole encounter was apparently caught on video and uploaded to the internet.

Why would the gang have a problem with Lil Wayne, you ask? What has he ever done to anyone? Apparently the rapper has sworn his allegiance to the Bloods, which probably doesn’t settle too well with the rival gang. To show Wayne that his foes aren’t messing around, this guy decided to give the rapper a piece of his mind.

The alleged Crips member said:

“You better check in n***a. Straight up n***a. Crip n***a. F**k Suge.”

As you can tell, the guy in the blue hat has quite a bit to say to Lil Wayne. Of course, the rapper doesn’t stick around long enough for the situation to escalate. Regardless of Wayne’s affiliation with the Bloods, it was definitely an intense situation. Weezy has yet to comment on the confrontation as of this writing.

Pop Crush points out that Lil Wayne wasn’t alone when this moment took place. The rapper’s rumored girlfriend Christina Milian was with Weezy when the gang member decided to make his presence known. She’s also remained tight-lipped about the matter.

The website also explains that Lil Wayne has dealt with the Crips in the past:

“In 2008, he had a run-in with a different set of Crips members, who were apparently led by rapper 40 Glocc. The Boombox reports that in recent years, the rapper has ‘claimed allegiance to the Bloods,’ making this confrontation with the Crips all the scarier.”

Fortunately for Wayne, life isn’t just about intense confrontations with gang members. Not only does the rapper have a new album and tour looming on the horizon, he’s also helping out friend and international football star Cristiano Ronaldo with his career. Although Wayne’s sports management company isn’t handling Cristiano’s career exclusively, they’re reportedly assisting with Stateside branding and promotion.
