Ellen DeGeneres And Portia De Rossi Defy Divorce Rumors During L.A. Shopping Spree

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have had nothing but divorce rumor after divorce rumor in the press, especially in the tabloid media.

As far as most hungry, and sometimes less than scrupulous publications are concerned, divorce is basically a foregone conclusion when it comes to De Rossi and DeGeneres. Whether it’s heated drunken arguments, cheating allegations, or secret video tapes, the divorce rumors have been never-ending, particularly in the last month.

However. if recent appearances are anything to go by, the media is wrong and the couple seems to have worked through any issues they had in the past. After all, don’t all couples, rich and poor, famous or otherwise, argue from time to time, and have issues they need to “iron out?”

If Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi’s shopping trip in L.A. on Thursday is anything to go by, the divorce rumors are definitely out the window, since they were spotted strolling hand-in-hand and laughing a lot as they enjoyed their day out.

To strengthen the seemingly new found loving relationship there has been talk recently about a possible baby in the works.

MStars News reported today that, according to a source of their’s, Ellen DeGeneres is keen to have a baby with Portia de Rossi, as long as it’s at the right time. The source revealed:

“Ellen has always said that she wants to have children with Portia one day, but she wants to wait until things slow down for her.”

Since the arguments and cheating allegations are apparently behind the couple, perhaps now is the right time for them to start thinking about the prospect of the pitter-patter of tiny feet at their new Beverly Hills condo, which they purchased recently.

The source claimed that DeGeneres would make a great mommy,”Ellen will be a great mother!” And added:

“Ellen is so good with kids and when a friend is having a baby, she loves to shower the mom with gifts. She is very generous with others kids, so one can only expect that it will be the same when she has one of her own… Whenever Ellen encounters a baby, she has them laughing in seconds because she starts making funny faces and doing her cartoon voices with the kid.”

On the other hand, it’s also been widely reported in the past that DeGeneres never really was interested in having any children, Has that reality changed, and will the couple opt for a surrogate mother or adoption as and when the time is right for a baby?
