Kanye West Compares Kim Kardashian To A Dinosaur, References ‘Step Brothers’
It’s been a second since we’ve heard from the babbling genius that is Kanye West. Remember that New York Times interview with West? Well in his new interview with GQ, the Yeezus rapper serves up some hilarious pull quotes that you might see rolled over by other outlets. Our favorite is when he compares Kim Kardashian to a dinosaur.
Whether you think Kanye West is an imbecile or a genius, or maybe a genius who also happens to be an imbecile, there’s one thing that can’t be denied and that’s his love for socialite Kim Kardashian. Since their engagement and subsequent wedding West, has felt the need to defend his relationship and why it works so well despite the pair coming from two totally different worlds a la a modern day Romeo and Juliet.
Their relationship has always been confusing to people and rightfully so. West is a rapper who fashions himself as an artist in all forms of creation, and Kardashian is a socialite who came to prominence through reality television. West is someone who claims he’d rather stay out of the spotlight and hates the paparazzi, while Kardashian’s brand feeds off of the limelight. Together they make up a pair that seemingly has nothing in common with one another in every facet of life.
When West isn’t being delusional about how his relationship fits into the art world, he is aware how people see his relationship with Kardashian, he just doesn’t necessarily agree with the vast majority. Cue the rapper defending his love by comparing Kim to a dinosaur.
Making a stellar Step Brothers reference, West puts it all into perspective with GQ.
“Like they said in ‘Step Brothers’: Never lose your dinosaur. This is the ultimate example of a person never losing his dinosaur. Meaning that even as I grew in cultural awareness and respect and was put higher in the class system in some way for being this musician, I never lost my dinosaur.”

We are not being facetious here. When people question why they’re together this is the kind of stuff that goes through Kanye’s mind.
“I don’t give a f–k about people’s opinions. Because when a kid falls in love with an airplane or a bike or a dinosaur — especially if you’re an only child and it’s not because of the book that the sibling was reading — it’s like, f–k, you mean to tell me that the dinosaurs walked the earth and stuff like that?! That’s amazing! You mean to tell me that these giant multi-ton crafts can fly that fast and that loud, and they can flip, and there’s danger, the possibility of them exploding?”

“You mean to tell me that this girl with this f–king body and this face is also into style, and she’s a nice person, and she has her own money and is family-oriented? That’s just as cool as a f–king fighter jet or dinosaur! And just as rarely seen.”
