Ed Sheeran On Dating Taylor Swift: ‘I Legitimately Haven’t’

Ed Sheeran may be one of the entertainment world’s most unassuming heart throbs, but he doesn’t really let it go to his head. Recently, the 23-year-old opened up to Cosmopolitan magazine about his personal life, his newest album, and addressed rumors that he and his close friend Taylor Swift have dated.

During the interview, Ed Sheeran discussed how it feels to be considered a “hot pop star”:

I never expected any of this to happen. I think attractive men are quite threatening, because they know they’re attractive and go in with a sort of confidence that can be very unattractive. There’s a fine line between confidence and arrogance…I don’t think I look like a pop star.

He also told Cosmo that he and his gal-pal Taylor Swift have never dated. He says that even his friends are convinced that the rumor is true, but he insists that “I haven’t. I legitimately haven’t.”

Ed Sheeran also gave praise to Justin Bieber‘s album Journals:

What he’s done in the press has completely overshadowed how good that album is.

As far as Sheeran’s preferred super power?

“The power of healing. Whenever anyone gets ill — terminal cancer, f—ing leukemia — you can just go “Bam!” and they’re well again. My grandfather had Alzheimer’s, so he was never quite aware of who I was. If I could have just clicked my fingers… You’d be very busy. You’d spend your whole time in hospitals, but the power of healing would be the best.”
