Donnie Wahlberg Takes Jenny McCarthy On Vacation Following ‘View’ Ouster
Jenny McCarthy is not taking her recent firing from The View lying down. In fact, her and fiancé Donnie Wahlberg are leaving the country altogether!
According to Page Six McCarthy “was spotted with Donnie Wahlberg at Providenciales airport in Turks and Caicos on Friday, escaping the fallout from her and Sherri Shepherd’s sacking a day earlier.”
And what a fallout it was. As reported recently by The Inquisitr, the entire cast save for one co-host was unceremoniously fired from The View late Thursday.
TMZ first broke the news when it released a report indicating the show was about to undergo major changes:
“Our sources say there was a meeting at ABC late Thursday afternoon and they announced Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy were out. Sources tell us executive producer Bill Geddie also will not be coming back.”
That claim was soon corroborated by McCarthy herself on Twitter:

Sherri Shepard also displayed her loyalty to her co-star, instead utilizing Instagram to broadcast her message of solidarity:
Shepard captioned the pic, “Mr @DonnieWahlberg always takes care of his ladies @jennyannmccarthy & me! To be continued… ;O)”
Does that mean Donnie is taking Sherri on vacation with him and Jenny? Probably not. But it does show that these former co-workers will remain friends even though they are not working together on daytime TV any longer.
So what’s next for Jenny McCarthy post View? While it isn’t known what her next onscreen move will be, it has been well documented what her next off-screen development is: namely her wedding to Donnie Wahlberg. According to E! Online, Jenny already has a wedding gown in mind for when she walks down the aisle with Donnie.
“Gucci is still in the running and there are two other designers also in the running now and I can’t remember the names. My stylist said, ‘Please, please consider a very feminine designer!'” McCarthy revealed. “I didn’t want to go with the styles of Vera Wang—I feel like its been so done. It’s my second wedding and with me being older, I don’t want to look like a virgin bride. I want to look classy and elegant and age appropriate.”
