First Forza Motorsport 4 dev diary shows the making of the Bernese Alps track

Microsoft and Turn 10 have sent out the first of what will apparently be several “making of” videos for their upcoming racing sim, Forza Motorsport 4.

The first video gives us a look at the making of the game’s Bernese Alps track. The track is set at a real world location, but Turn 10 took some liberties – namely, making a track where there was none – to create a track that’s both beautiful to look at and fun to race on.

As someone who’s a rabid racing sim fan, I can’t wait to see the next video to get my Forza 4 fix. Actually, scratch that – I can’t wait to get my hands on the actual game. But alas, I’ll have to wait until the game releases on October 11 in North America.
