Website For Cheaters Uses Hillary Clinton’s Face On Billboard

Known for being far from classy, the pro-cheating website Ashley Madison is at it again with a billboard in the Chicago area that pokes some fun at Hillary Clinton’s new book Hard Choices while advertising its website to married men who want to cheat on their spouses.

The billboard displays a picture of Hillary Clinton next to a message that reads, “Harder choices lead to AshleyMadison.com,” according to a report by WFLD-TV 32 in Chicago.

Sam Chapman, CEO of Empower Public Relations, told the Chicago Fox affiliate that he thought the ad was “tasteless.”

“I think it’s a tasteless company with a tasteless ad… I think Hillary Clinton is an important person in our society and this really takes advantage of someone who doesn’t deserve it, and there’s something really shameful about what they’re up to.”

Ashley Madison’s CEO Noel Biderman spoke with the U.K.’s the Daily Mail and said there was a very simple reason for why the billboard was designed and displayed.

“This could be the first time a person sitting in the Oval Office has survived infidelity [from a partner’s affair] and has an understanding of infidelity,” he told the newspaper.

“Biderman said he wasn’t sure if the billboard was ‘satirical,’ but said it was ‘a play on words that allows people to interpret and discuss’ infidelity.

“If elected president of the United States, Clinton would have ‘an opportunity to speak from a unique perspective’ on unfaithfulness given her husband’s affair with Monica Lewinsky, he said.

“Politicians have been featured in Ashley Madison’s campaigns, he said, because it shows the ‘most celebrated and revered among us don’t seem to succeed at being monogamous.'”

Among the other philandering politicians to be featured in Ashley Madison ads are Presidents Franklin Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, and Bill Clinton.

Former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney was featured, as well, but not for cheating on his wife. The billboard displayed on the Daily Mail‘s website had a message about cheating on taxes.

Even though politicians seem to be the target of many Ashley Madison billboards, they are not the only targets of the company. As The Inquisitr reported in 2012, the company once promised to pay $1 million to the person it said could prove that former Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow was not a virgin, as he has claimed in numerous occasions in the past.

What do you think? Is Ashley Madison going too far or is it all in good fun?
