Martha Stewart Throws Elegant Birthday Party In Maine

Martha Stewart threw an early birthday bash for herself this past weekend at her home in Maine. According to reports it was an elegant affair celebrating Martha’s 70th which actually occurred on the following Wednesday.

The New York Post says the party at her Skylands home included her daughter, granddaughter and a close group of family and friends.

The source revealed:

“She loves to hike,” and “There will be good food, and they’ll do all the things Martha loves to do in Maine.”

As part of the “elegance” Chef Pierre Schaedlin, coauthor of Marth’s book “Martha’s Entertaining” cooked lobster rolls for the group while they spent time hiking and trolling around on the home and garden stars boat.

Another Martha Stewart birthday also occurred in New York and was hosted by Weddings editorial director Darcy Miller.
