Jhené Aiko Will Tour With Schoolboy Q, The Weeknd This Fall

Jhené Aiko is all set to hit the road with rappers The Weeknd and Schoolboy Q later this year. Unfortunately, fans might need to do a little traveling if they want to see the talented trio do their thing onstage.

Although Aiko and the fellas are hitting up a few cities this fall, one might have a hard time actually calling this thing a “tour.” According to Radio.com, Jhené will perform a handful of “one-night events” beginning in September. Unfortunately for folks who don’t live close to any of the scheduled stops, they may need to make some serious travel arrangements to catch the shows. However, catching these three live is likely worth the money.

If you need a little artwork to get you even more pumped up for the upcoming one-night events, then have a look at the image embedded below. Here’s hoping Jhené Aiko fans can make the pilgrimage to one of the four cities currently on the calendar.

According to Exclaim, there are the only four stops currently listed on the “King of the Fall” tour. If you need to take a road trip, then you might want to start planning this as soon as possible. September isn’t that far away.

September 19 – Brooklyn, NY – Barclays Center
September 21 – Toronto, Ontario – Molson Canadian Amphitheatre
October 9 – Los Angeles, CA – Hollywood Bowl
October 9 – San Francisco, CA – Bill Graham Civic Auditorium

By the time these dates roll around, Jhené Aiko fans should have thoroughly consumed her major label debut Souled Out. According to the folks at Vibe, the record is presently slated for release in the U.S. this August. Aiko told the publication that she’s deliberately taking her time with the album to make sure everything is just right.

Jhené Aiko said of her upcoming record:

“I will never rush anything just to say I’m 28 with seven albums. One or a few of those albums will be crap. This album, from top to bottom, sounds like you’re on a journey. Once you get to the last songs with my daughter, the songs where I’m talking about what life means. it’s just enlightenment.”
