Your chance to get your Mad Max on

The original Mad Max movie was awesome with the sequels being, depending on your opinion of course, less than satisfactory even if Tina Turner and her gorgeous legs were included.

In fact the original Mad Max has spawned a whole subculture that like the steampunk culture revels in anything to do with Mad Max, from the clothing to the vehicles, so much so that there is even a special 3 day post-apocalyptic party that happens every year to celebrate the movie and the fandom around the movie.

This year the party, referred to as Wasteland Weekend, will be held in the Mojave desert just outside of Los Angeles, California, on September 23 to 25. Here is a short video from last year’s festivities.
