Dunkin’ Donuts Bringing 20 New Locations To Southern California

Dunkin’ Donuts is giving folks in southern California nearly two dozen opportunities to purchase some of its delicious offerings very soon.

Over the next several years, the restaurant will sling donuts and sandwiches to folks who live in or around the San Fernando Valley and South Orange County. If you were secretly hoping that new Dunkin’ Donuts locations would pop in that region, then someone decided to make your wildest dreams come true.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the company intends to open 20 new locations throughout Southern California in the next few years. Instead of dumping them into that section of the country at once, Dunkin’ Donuts will stagger the openings over a period of time. No sense saturating the market all at once.

Surprisingly, there are only three Dunkin’ Donuts locations in California as of this writing. Although the company will open one location in the state before the end of the year, it’s not among the 20 they currently have scheduled for the southern region.

If everything goes according to Dunkin’ Donuts’ master plan, then the company will operate upwards of 1,000 locations throughout the state over the next several years. Trying to find a location nearest you will no longer take up most of your free time. Assuming, of course, that searching out one of the restaurants is how you spend your days off.

Drunkin’ Brands Grant Benson said in a recent press release:

“As we continue to grow our presence in California, a key component is our passionate franchisees who provide a high-level of customer service to our guests every day. We are excited to welcome these new franchise groups to the Dunkin’ Donuts brand. Between their franchise and California business experience, we are confident they will cultivate lasting customer relationships, and become wonderful additions to the Southern California communities they will serve.”

Benzinga reports that two different companies are working to populate the southern region of California with Dunkin’ Donuts locations. Precision Hospitality & Development will open 10 locations throughout South Orange County, while Aharon Aminpour will drop 10 restaurants in the San Fernando Valley. The website points out that Aminpour plans to have the first joint ready to rock by 2015.

This isn’t the only region of California that’s getting some love from Dunkin’ Donuts. The Inquisitr reported back in March that 46 restaurants should pop up in Sacramento in the near future. If you can’t find a location in your neck of the woods in the coming years, then take a road trip to another part of the state. Chances are you’ll stumble across one sooner than later.
