Toy Story 4 on the Way? Tom Hanks Says “Yes”
It probably shouldn’t come as a surprise that Toy Story 3, a animated film which took in over a billion dollars in worldwide receipts, would be seeing a sequel in development.
Such is the case here as Toy Story 4 is already being worked on by Pixar, according to the franchise’s main star, Tom Hanks.
While promoting his current romantic-comedy Larry Crowne, Hanks was asked by BBC News whether there will be another Toy Story film, to which he answered:
“I think there will be yeah. Yeah, yeah, think they’re working on it now. There you go.”
Although fans of the franchise will be delighted by the news, many critics considered the third film to be solid end to the much-loved Pixar franchise centering on Woody (Hanks), Buzz (Tim Allen) and their toy comrades.
The studio did recently announce plans to release a ‘mystery movie’ on November 27th 2013 and since doing so fans have been speculating as to whether it would be a sequel (like The Incredibles 2) or an entirely new story.
What are your thoughts? Could the November 2013 mystery release in fact be Toy Story 4?

I would very much like to see and Incredibles 2….but a Toy Story 4? Not so much.

I personally don't see where they could possibly go story wise with Toy Story 4 that already hasn't been done. At the end of the third movie (SPOILER ALERT!) Andy heads off to college and the toys are given to a little girl that is enjoying them. Everything is pretty much wrapped up. I personally would like to see a sequel to Incredibles or something else OTHER than Toy Story 4. If it is made I don't expect it to do well.

I love Toy Story! Its been a series that has grown up with me. I'm not sure how a 4th one would work. I'm afraid that just because its making money they will run it into the ground and not stop while they're ahead. (Yes, I understand that's hollywood) That's exactly what they just did with Cars, I LOVED Cars. Cars 2… not really. I hope TS4 doesn't end with destruction.
