Twitter Adds Google Friend Connect Integration

Twitter has gotten on-board with Google Friend Connect, the Web-wide sign-on system brought out of beta earlier this month.

With the new support, you’ll be able to logon to any Friend Connect-supporting site with your Twitter ID. You can then use your Twitter profile to engage on the site as well as find other Twitter friends and tweet information back to Twitter as well.

To use the new Twitter Friend Connect integration, all you have to do is click the Twitter icon on the “Share” tab of the Friend Connect widget on any participating site.
