Amanda Bynes Bikini Selfies: Troubled Star Treats Fans To Spring Break Shots

Amanda Bynes, the 28-year-old onetime teen star who is now studying to be a fashion designer, wanted to let her fans know that she is doing well after a series of legal and mental health issues. So she posted some shots of herself in a day-glo yellow bikini on Twitter.

Bynes marked her 28th birthday on April 3 with a vacation in Mexico. She posted some fully-clothed pictures from there earlier, in which he is seen smiling, relaxed and apparently happy.

Even though Amanda Bynes declared at one point recently that she is now retired from acting and will instead pursue a career in fashion, that hasn’t stopped paparazzi from trailing her. They captured some photos of her last week on her holiday in Cabo San Lucas, a popular beach resort area heavily trafficked by tourists, where she was vacationing with her parents, Rick and Lynn Bynes.

In some of those shots, Amanda Bynes is seen clad in the same bikini, in which she appears healthy and physically fit.

Perhaps wisely taking a cue to gain control of her own publicity, Bynes — who was starring in her own Nickelodeon program The Amanda Show at age 13 — then had two more shots taken of herself sporting the bikini, which she then posted on Twitter.

The above shot, she posted with the caption “Spring Break.” The Amanda Bynes Twitter account then also featured the following post, in which she expresses gratitude to fans for wishing her a happy birthday while admiring her own bikini-clad figure in a mirror.

Amanda Bynes was on a break from her first term in school, at the Fashion Institute of Design and Marketing. Bynes attends classes at the fashion school’s Orange County campus.

“Amanda is doing great and excelling in her studies,” Bynes’ family attorney Tamar Arminak said in an interview with E! Online. “She is a natural when it comes to fashion and is really enjoying the learning process. Her parents and family are so proud of her. She is an amazing girl.”

The Bynes family spokesperson added that even if Amanda Bynes, who is serving a three-year term of probation after a striking a plea deal in February on a drunk driving charge stemming from a incident in 2012 when she sideswiped a police car, were offered acting work, she would likely decline to continue her fashion studies.
