Amanda Bynes birthday.

Amanda Bynes Looks Happy, Celebrates 28th Birthday In Mexico

Amanda Bynes finally looks happy as she celebrated her 28th birthday in Mexico, sharing some pictures on Twitter and receiving the well wishes of fans all over the world.

The former Nickelodeon star has had her share of heartache in the last year and for a moment it looked as if she would go down the road many other celebrities in her position have.

However, thanks in part to a supportive family, including her parents, Amanda Bynes has been able to put some of her troubles behind her and move on with her life.

Amanda flew to Cabo San Lucas to soak up some rays and relax, taking time off from fashion school, in which she enrolled following her successful completion of a rehab program.

Amanda seems to have made a complete 180, going back to being the happy-go-lucky young woman everyone remembers for movies such as Hairspray and She’s The Man.

A few short months ago, in the summer of 2013, things looked indeed very bleak for Bynes, when she started confrontations with fellow celebs on Twitter, calling some of them ugly — including President Obama — and other unpleasant things. She got in trouble with the law for a misdemeanor driving case, two hit-and-runs, and the infamous bong-throwing incident.

All the cases were thrown out and Amanda was ordered to enroll into rehab to solve a series of emotional problems, as well as eating disorders.

Now things are looking up for Amanda Bynes — who is on spring break from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in which she enrolled after leaving rehab.

Amanda’s parents, Rick and Lynn — who currently are her legal guardians — joined her for the celebration in Mexico.

On March 1, Bynes happily tweeted that she was very busy studying for her classes at her fashion school:

Amanda Bynes seems to be very pleased with her life, as she turned 28-years-old this past Thursday and things are certainly looking up for the former troubled star.
